San Luca

We were on a return visit to the opera to see Aida as it had been washed out the previous year and we had return tickets so we were very pleased with how close we were to the arena. Verona has a wealth of cafés, restaurants, shops, market stalls and sights to see all within easy walking distance. We found prices very reasonable and waiters did not demand tips (as in USA)

This is not our first stay at this hotel and needless to say it won’t be our last. We love the central location ideal for the Arena and sightseeing and restaurants. The staff are super friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble. The rooms are cleaned daily and a good size with comfy beds and so quiet you’re always guaranteed a good nights sleep. Although a continental breakfast there is a good variety of food with plentiful coffee/tea/juices etc. Yes, most definitely our first choice of hotel to stay when we’re in Verona.

Very pleasant one night (sadly) stay - Pleasant and helpful staff. Great location, quiet, clean, tastefully decorated, nothing was a problem. Stored our luggage until later in the day without a problem. Well recommended from a NZ visitor!
