Villa Gesi

Villa Gesi was in an ideal location for our family wedding in Verona. We were lucky enough to have the whole building for our family only so were able to relax fully. The accommodation was spacious and well equipped but I was not impressed with the cleanliness. Food had been left in our fridge from previous guests and the fridge itself was dirty. Our bedding was old and torn and the hairdryers in the rooms could do with upgrading. The sitting area downstairs was filled with cobwebs and could have done with a good clean. However, Villa Gesi has a lovely outside area for breakfast/dining or just relaxing with a drink. Sadly, I don’t think I would stay here again.

I highly recommend staying in this villa!! My husband and I stayed with our Labrador for 11days in the room with a kitchenette. It honestly feels like you are staying in a good friends Italian villa!! Wonderfully comfortable, quiet, and cozy! AC and Wifi work great, check in is independent and easy, and beds are comfortable, plenty of parking for our huge car, and host (Luca) is very kind and responds quickly when you have questions. For the room with kitchen: it doesn’t have the exposed Rick walls like the pictures but still very charming. Includes coffee maker, fridge(no freezer), induction stove top, no oven, microwave, and all needed kitchen tools. Tiny table BUT we ate our meals in the common area which is so lovely :)

Villa Gesi & the hosts , Patrizia & Joe is really amazing : the house and rooms are lovely and airconditioned . The warm welcome for the guests is outstanding . we stayed there 10 years ago , and again in middle of June 2017 . We felt at home with old friends ; Wine , cheese and all kind of handmade delicacies of Patrizia's...and a lively chat in French , English and Italien . Patrizia & Joe are really one of the niciest hosts we ever met , and we are happy to consider them as friends . excellent breakfast ... and much more ... Negrar is only a short way from Verona , so it is an excellent choice for visitors to the area. Zvia & Zvika Parnes
