Doctors Cave Beach

Booked a table for 6 for evening meal. On arrival the staff has no booking although we had the email confirmation. They hastily put a table together then left us with no menus, no one came to take our order for 20 minutes until we had to approach them. Two of the meals ordered were Filet of fish, (snapper) on arrival the two of the meals had bones that you could visibly see, when challenged the chef explained they had changed supplier, and apologised. I fully expected the 2 meals to be taken off the bill but to my surprise both meals were charged to the bill. I spoke again with the chef who seemed now to think it was ok to charge for a filet of fish, which she had earlier acknowledged was not supposed to have visible bones, suppose I had ordered it for a child. With that said after visiting Doctors cave yearly for over 30 years, I will never visit again

Do not book with Doctors cave beach Hotel! They are scamming people They are closed for renovation and no information was given about that when we booked or after! The manager which i talked to on phone was veet rude and unprofessional. They are ripping off people by letting them book and then the last day before the stay they book you at a cheaper hotel which is nearby. STAY AWAY from Doctora cave beach hotel as they are scamming people!

First of all, the hotel is in a great location! Stores, restaurants, and beaches are all a short walk away. The property itself is very pretty with a lovely garden area. The room and bathroom were clean and the cleaning ladies were exceptionally kind and helpful as were the women who serve breakfast. ALL of the staff was amazing, especially Simone and Kenny!!! I was traveling with a friend. We are both young females and the staff ensured that we felt safe and comfortable during our stay. The pool is nice, the drinks are amazing, and it was a lovely stay. There was a tiny bug problem but that is to be expected in a tropical environment. Overall, my friend and I loved our stay and hope to return again soon!
