The LED advertisements for the gay bar opposite are annoying. They are on all night. I was prepared for it to be noisy as it is a women's college area, but even with the curtains closed, the flickering noise that seeped in through the gaps was annoying. The staff are friendly, there is a convenience store nearby, and it is a convenient hotel, but there was a big catch. If you are on the opposite side of the road or on a higher floor, it is not a problem, but the rooms on the lower floors facing the road were the worst. I would not want to stay here even if there was a discount for a "special offer" room.

I stayed here while sightseeing in Sakae, Nagoya. The building itself is old, and the interior makes you think it may have originally been an apartment building. The guest room also had a Showa-era feel to it, the beds were old, and the whole room smelled of mold and cigarettes. There was an air purifier installed, but it was covered in dust, so I felt it would be better not to use it. However, the surrounding area was right in the middle of Sakae, and there were many famous restaurants here and there, so it was very convenient. It's a shame because the location is so good. I would like to stay at this hotel again if it had undergone major renovations.

The hotel was quite good and the staff were very helpful. The location is quite good and close enough to big shopping centres if you feel like going for a walk. The rooms are decent size with a tv, bar fridge and a kettle.
