Hamilton Hotel Black

There are many restaurants near the hotel, You can also buy Nagoya souvenirs at the shop in the Misonoza building. The hotel itself is compact. Single rooms were not large, I guess it was relatively cheap. Breakfast is free and there are welcome drinks I think cospa is decent.

This hotel is located about a 5-minute walk from Exit 5 on the Higashiyama subway line. The nearest exit is Exit 6, but we had to take a detour at the time of our stay due to construction. Hamilton Hotel is a hotel in the same series as Red and Blue, and offers services that you wouldn't expect from a business hotel. For example, the free breakfast and welcome drink are great. A welcome service is provided between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m., and you can enjoy one or two drinks from a wide variety of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages (beer, various whiskeys, etc.), and light snacks are also available. Drinks are great to enjoy in the candle-lit lobby with the lights turned off. The free breakfast is complete, with small plates of rice dishes such as curry and pickled vegetables, and bread. The room we stayed in this time was a 13m2 semi-double room, and was designed so that even two people would not feel cramped. The room key was a key rather than a card key, but it was still powered even without being inserted, so be sure to remember to turn it off when you go out. The washlet in the toilet is adjusted with a knob type that makes it feel a bit old-fashioned. The bathroom was a little big. One thing that bothered me was that the area around the sink was not cleaned properly. There was a little mold behind the shampoo dispensers attached to the wall, and the ventilation fan above the bathroom was clogged with dust, which was a bit of a concern. And the thinness of the walls was also a concern. Noises from the rooms next door and above, as well as noises from the hallway, were a concern. When walking down the hallway, you could clearly hear other rooms talking, the TV, the hair dryer, etc., so this might be quite a bother for some people. The price was on the cheaper side for a business hotel in Nagoya City, and the service was good, so it was tolerable, but I would not recommend staying here if you are concerned about such things. Finally, there is a bicycle rental service Chari Port in front of the hotel entrance, which is very useful when going out sightseeing from this hotel, which is close to Sakae and Osu.

Hamilton Black is a perfect place. Affordable but cleanliness was never compromised. Rates include buffet breakfast and free unlimited wine, beer and sake during happy hour (6pm~8pm). Less than 5min walk to Fushimi Station Subway(1 station from Nagoya station/JR Rail). Short walk going to Osu Shopping Area. Airport Limousine Bus from the airport to the Hamilton Black Hotel is across the street, and bus stop going back to the airport is less than 50meters on the left side of the hotel. This is very helpful when you have so many luggages, no need to take the train. Yoshinoya is in front of the hotel, 7-eleven, Family Mart and Lawson are all walking distance from the hotel. Most especialy, hotel staff were very hospitable and nice.
