Hotel Route Inn Hirosaki-Joto

The room was beautiful and the lighting was bright and easy to spend. I saw it for the first time, but when the luggage storage area pulled out, I could put a carry case. Apart from that, we also had a baggage rack, so we were grateful to have two. This is really helpful because you can see the crowding in the public bath by the hotel information on the TV. The public bath was small for women, but the changing room was also very beautiful. I'm glad that the amenities of the public bath are good. It helps that you can eat your dinner without leaving the hotel after bathing because there is a restaurant open at night. The staff at the restaurant were very pleasant. The bed was comfortable. If I wanted to, I wanted my indoor clothes to be separate, but I wanted my pants to be elasticated. It’s loose if you don’t tighten the string because it’s the type that ties it, and I have to adjust it with a string every time I go to the restroom, so that’s a little troublesome. Breakfast was a regular Viking. The apple juice was delicious. For the sake of eco-friendliness, we often see people asking us to use up their toilet paper, but when two people are staying at a hotel that uses a paper holder with two sets of toilet paper, even if they decide to start from the right side, they don't know how the other person is using it, and the pattern is such that both are eventually reduced, so I often wish the hotel decided to use it from here. It's obvious that one of the two hotels is wrapped and unused. I was impressed that this was a very good idea. I think it will cost the hotel to individually wrap it, but I think it is good to appeal to guests that we want them to use it, so I thought it would be good if other hotels could refer to it.

I stayed here when sightseeing in Hirosaki. It's far from the station, so I took a taxi. There were surprisingly few inbound tourists, and the large public bath was very nice. The elevator on the right side seems to be used by wheelchair users, so I was a bit worried when I pressed the wheelchair button but there was no response. Since my room was on the west side, the view of Mt. Iwaki was beautiful. There were many convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance, so I didn't have any problems. There were many hotels near the station, but Hirosaki City really has a lot of inbound tourists.

My husband and I came to Hirosaki to see the Cherry Blossom Festival as part of our honeymoon. The Route Inn hotel was fairly close (25 min walk approx.). Hirosaki is a small, quiet town so besides the Cherry Blossom Festival, there was not too much to do but that was fine, we were only there for 2 nights. The hotel was very basic. The room was small but clean. The staff was very nice and tried to help in any way they could. We went to the restaurant for dinner one night and it was quite good. The waitress (?) was extremely sweet and fast and the food was good! Overall, good experience and a very decent hotel.
