Sankei City Hotel Chiba

In the past, when the office was in front of the Chiba Prefectural Office, I used it with several colleagues because I was temporarily living alone or on a short-term special duty at one point and could not commute early in the morning. It's a standard shape with just a restaurant (tavern style) on the first floor! I only used it to get some sleep. It has been the lowest room in my life.

Got a pretty good price for this place tucked away within Chiba City. It has many single rooms with bathroom ensuite. Fifteen minutes walk is sufficient to reach JR Chiba station and with luggage, the monorail is useful for convenience. Front desk is available 24hrs but they don't speak fluent English; not a major issue (if you're simple person with basic needs). Hotel and room are very clean and well-maintained. Room has many typical appliances you can expect such as TV, fridge, e-kettle, hair dryer, mini cupboard with hangers. Bathroom has a tub so don't forget that salt bath granules! Thankfully toilet is with attached-bidet. Everything looks and seems appropriate until the promotional items advertised on the table ie adult videos particularly for men. Apologies but they're very disturbing for female solo traveller (me!).

I got this hotel for a pretty decent price about $100 for 2 nights. It was a smoking room and I don't smoke, but I didn't smell anything. It was a nice sized room, private bathroom a small TV and fridge. It was good.
