We are from Australia and visited my son and family in Chiba. This hotel is very clean, efficiently managed. Right over the Tokyo Tain line. Eateries available with short walk. Large shopping centres. Reasonably priced. We have stayed there twice and we now use this as a home base when in Tokyo and surrounds

As being a tourist in any country it’s best to have one closest to transport. We stayed 2 nights in Mets Hotel. The rooms were v dry clean, comfortable beds. With all the conveniences you require in the bathroom. We were lucky at that time it was the 100yr celebration of college baseball. So if you were relaxing in your room and had difficulties with the language you could just watch the baseball. Tsudanuma is on a JR line so easy access to Tokyo city. The accomodation charges were very reasonable and just a walk to numerous eating houses. We plan to stay there a wee bit longer next time as the service was good plus close proximity to all the great shopping outlets.

This business hotel is almost literally on the tracks at the Tsudanuma station. Rooms are small with no great view. Noise from the numerous trains stopping and starting is negligible. Best part of this room is the bathroom, especially the shower. Next best, depending on your personal tastes, is that the breakfast at two very nearby restaurants, one being a Denny's, is included. Service is polite and helpful. More for business than tourism.
