Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel

I chose the Disney Resort for the final leg of my wonderful stay in Japan. Since I consistently choose Marriott properties when traveling internationally, I selected this hotel for the Disney Resort in Japan, expecting the reliable, high-quality experience that Marriott guarantees worldwide. However, this time was an exception. I stayed at Sheraton hotels in Hiroshima, Osaka, and Okinawa, but the Tokyo location was the only disappointing one. The attitude of the female door staff upon our arrival was reminiscent of a nameless hotel in China. They did a poor job guiding our taxi; despite having large pieces of luggage, we were directed to a drop-off point far from the entrance. The hotel itself felt relatively dated—on a scale of five, I would rate it a three. After going out, we returned to the hotel via monorail and shuttle bus. The bus was packed, which was unavoidable, but the situation upon arrival was frustrating. Even after we reached the hotel, the door staff seemed unable to quickly guide the bus into position; consequently, we ended up spending more time waiting inside the bus than actually riding it. It was baffling that no designated area had been secured for the bus to stop and unload passengers—a failure that likely stems from the door staff's lack of competence. Once inside, staff members we passed in the lobby offered no greetings. It was also disappointing that no hotel staff spoke to us while we were waiting for the bus on the second floor. Compared to other hotels in Japan or the Sheraton Grand Beijing Dongcheng Hotel where I stayed for business, this was by far the most disappointing hotel experience.

It was a great hotel with excellent access to Disney resorts and the lingering feeling of the park. This time we stayed in the Treasures Room on the 8th floor, which thankfully was upgraded to a family premium in the corner room, allowing the whole family to relax in a spacious and comfortable space. In addition, the hotel even prepared a heartwarming surprise for my child's birthday, which I will never forget. Thank you very much. The Club Lounge has a great view, and the evening cocktails offer a wide variety of hot meals, which I am very happy with. We felt that the system was well-considered, as it was divided into two parts to make it easy for families to use it. (※The rules of use are subject to change, so we recommend that you check the latest information in advance.) Wizkids, a new play area that reopened in 2022, is a lot more than you could ever imagine. From toddlers to elementary school students, this is a facility where you can be enthralled by a large trampoline, bouldering, athletics, zip lines, and a drawing corner. The kids said, "I don't want to go home yet!" I was enjoying it so much that I said, There are plenty of in-house activities such as swimming pools, hot springs, and mini golf, and the hotel alone is full enough to enjoy for a day. In addition to the convenience of an official Disney hotel, the hotel is also equipped with facilities to make the whole family feel comfortable. Compared to other Sheraton hotels, the hotel is very family friendly and the atmosphere is lively, so it may not be suitable for those who want to work in a quiet environment. However, because of this, the staff were very kind and warm to families with children, and it was an at-home hotel that felt attentive to attention. This hotel is confidently recommended for families who want to enjoy Disney travel as well as the hotel stay itself. I'd love to stay here again.

My middle school daughter made her Disney debut and we stayed together. I've been to this hotel three times for weddings, more than 20 years ago, but this is my first time staying. I wonder if it's old. I thought it was, but I didn't feel old at all. The front desk was also luxurious and smelled like I had been to a foreign hotel. The room is triple room and large enough. There was also a sofa so I could relax. The bed was also in a luxury hotel so I could sleep well. From the room, I could see the chapel and remember the wedding I had been to before. There was nowhere to eat in the area, so I went to Shin-Urayasu for dinner. There is no convenience store near the hotel, so I bought alcohol and snacks to drink in my room at Aeon in front of Shin-Urayasu Station. There are several dining venues with breakfast included, but I went to the most recommended one I heard at the front desk. I went there around 7:30, but I think I waited about 20 minutes. There was a wide variety of noodles, and I was so hungry that I ate too much. They kept my luggage even after I checked out, which was very helpful. I was lucky because I was able to stay on a cheap plan that I happened to find. If you want to spend more cheaply, Shin-Urayasu hotel is better, but after all Disney official hotel is more exciting. It was the right thing to do here.
