Tokyo Disneyland(R) Hotel

First I was told the open seats in the bat lounge were not available and table service only. Then while trying to enjoy a cocktail in the lounge, I was told they didn’t have Grand Mariner. I saw it sitting on the bar. I had to show them. Then I was told they needed to get a new bottle and to wait 10 minutes. I did and my drink arrived. I asked for a second and was told it’s not possible. I changed to Makers Mark. Order an entree and ate. I tried to order an additional drink and was told my time was up. It’s a lounge inside the open air lobby. Not a restaurant. This is my second time to Japan, but I can honestly say the stay at Tokyo Disneyland Resort Hotel is the the UNFRIENDLIEST, most unwelcoming experience I have ever seen in Japan. Every other hotel and city in Japan has been amazing. It’s too bad this place anchors the park licensed by Disney. I do NOT recommend staying here. Very rude, very pushy, very unwelcoming. Not the Japanese culture I fell in love with on my previous visit.

Absolutely wonderful experience. We stayed here for 6 nights and loved our room. We booked a standard alcove bed room with a trundle and it met our needs as a family of 4. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the room was clean, and the housekeeping service was outstanding. The convenient store downstairs is so handy and we found many foods to try. It was nice that the store was open after the Disney park closed for the night. We did two buffet breakfasts at Sherwood Garden. The food was diverse and good for the most part. The Sherwood staff was so friendly. All in all, we would stay here again if visiting Disney. Love that it’s right in front of the main Disneyland gate.

We wanted to round off our Japan trip at Tokyo Disney, and decided to book this hotel in our vacation package. The whole experience was utter perfection! From the second we got out of our taxi, to when we got in our taxi to leave, the staff couldn't have been more amazing. They were friendly, welcoming and prompt. We got there long before check in time so we left out luggage and went and enjoyed the parks. The room itself was incredible; massive too! Our luggage was already in the room when we entered. We also had a park view room which had an amazing view both morning and night. And there was plenty of amenities too. The hotel is a short walk to Disneyland and a short monorail ride to Disney Sea, which was great especially after a long day at the parks. We also had breakfast at Sherwood Gardens which had a nice big spread. There is also a well stocked combini which was great to get snacks, and enjoy the fireworks from our window. This was the perfect way to end a holiday, we were extremely sad to say goodbye. But we will be back!!!
