The Apa Hotel Group, which acquired Millenia Hotel Matsuyama in 2013, switched to Apa Hotel Matsuyama Jonishi as its first branch in Ehime Prefecture. Standard business hotel that is different from the standard Apa specification but clean. Although it was on the eleventh floor, it was on the opposite side of Matsuyama Castle, so the view was a private house below. The double bed had four pillows, you could choose your preference and Matt was comfortable sleeping. Amenities are available in-room with APA standard items. No lotion or emulsion. Two bottles of water are provided free of charge and a small refrigerator is available. Stick Green Tea and Nescafé Excerpt Coffee, 2 bottles each. No security box. Breakfast is served in business hotel class, with spacious tables and seating. Unfortunately, coffee takeout is not available. Free rental of plastic umbrellas on rainy days. From Matsuyama Airport, take a limousine bus and get off at Ehime Shimbun-mae. Suitcases may make public transport access inconvenient. Parking is 500 yen per day.

Hotel nice and clean, nice Indian restaraunt attached to hotel - evening food was nice. Breakfast is in the same restaurant, with a choice of curry for breakfast too 😑 no/limited choice of European breakfast. Rooms are clean, but extremely, on a huge scale, small. There is no room to put clothes out of your case. The only floor space is in the corridor so you have to step over your case evrytime you go to the toilet or in and out of your room. Luckily I was only here 2 nights, no way would I be able to stay for a long period. The bathroom is extremely small too, the bath is literally tye size of a normal shower base. And the trains .... it is literally a Meter away from the hotel. If you are expecting sleep ... dont.

This is a comfortable hotel, with friendly staff. It doesn’t have much parking and it does cost 1200 a night so that’s worth bearing in mind, if you have a car. There is a laundry on the 1st floor if you need to clean your clothes!
