I finished taking a bath in my room and when I flushed it, black dirt from the drain and dead ants spilled out on the toilet side of the unit, making it the worst condition. I couldn't even get out of the unit bath, and as the water receded little by little, I was able to pull a towel to the floor and finally get back into my room. I call the front desk, but they say, "Do you want to check out now?" Well… I still have time to check out and I don’t want to use this toilet anymore, so I went to the front desk and asked them to change the room… I got a card for a new room and the new room wouldn’t open… I put in a complaint and the front desk finally came up towards the room. The new room was finally available, and I carried the luggage to the new room and back by myself (the front desk was just watching). There was no suggestion whatsoever from the hotel that we should do this, so I let them say their request. We don't use route-ins anymore.

As the name suggests, Route Inn Kanda Ekimae is located in front of the station, so it is very convenient for those who travel by train. There are also local izakayas and ramen shops around the hotel, so you can eat local cuisine and get full. The room is very compact and feels a bit small. It was crowded when I went for breakfast first thing in the morning. I feel they could put a little more effort into the menu.

I recommend this hotel: cheap, clean and very close to the station. Breakfast with large selection. Close to the hotel there is a wide selection of restaurant. In the hotel there is a Spa with traditional Japanese bath
