I stayed here for several nights. I came by car, so I used the affiliated parking lot next door, which was empty and I was able to park without any stress. It's a little outside the downtown area, so you have to walk a little to eat and drink, but it's within walking distance, and there's a convenience store a few minutes walk away. The room is a little old, but it's tolerable, and the unit bath was barrier-free and comfortable. The TV was small and unsatisfying, and it was difficult to adjust the air conditioner, so it took a while to get it to the right temperature. I asked the front desk staff to look up local information and places, but they didn't show up, which was disappointing.

The Washington hotel is a hotel within an easy 10-minute walk from Iwaki Station. It is quite cheap and offers the essential for a business trip. I would not recommend it for a holiday because of the essentiality of the structure. The staff are very friendly and helpful but speak little English, so there may be difficulties in making special requests. The single room I was assigned was very small, enough for a queen bed and a small desk. Someone may find it difficult to sit at the desk comfortably, preferring to sit on the bed in the vicinity. The wifi is very good. The bathroom is small, with the sink partially overlapping the tub. However the cleaning of the bathroom is good. The cleaning of the room, however, was just enough. The control panel located next to the bed, which allows you to control the room lights and the alarm clock, was quite dirty and I had to clean it before using it. Conditioning is efficient, and it is possible to partially open the window for air exchange. In the room you can see a kettle, tea bags and phone. The hotel has an elevator. Breakfast is self-service, in Japanese style. The international breakfast is limited to some croissants and a machine that offers hot drinks. The quality is not exceptional but I would say more than enough. Within walking distance from the hotel you can find supermarkets and bars.

Average Japanese business hotel. Clean and comfortable. The room was small but with complete facilities and amenities. Hotel has its own parking next to the hotel building. Staffs and service were good.
