The service was very polite. We were served in the room, and the portions were so generous that I could only drink one glass of my favorite alcohol. It's not often that I can't finish the food and have to drink afterwards because I feel like it's a waste lol. I ate it all (≧∇≦)b. It might be too much for the senior generation. Since we were served in the room, I was able to relax and unwind. The homemade? Hoba miso for breakfast was also excellent. It's been years since I had a second helping of rice. I'd definitely like to visit again at another time. The price was so cheap that I was a little worried. Thank you so much.

We visited here for 1 night as a base for hiking in kamikochi. It's 3 min walk from the bus terminal. The hotel and the room were very clean. We loved both hot baths ( indoor and outdoor) In addition, the staff were very kind but didn't know English. They helped in everything we needed.

My husband and I stayed for three nights and it was wonderful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The onsen included both an inside and outside option for bathing. We could see several mountains outside our window and throughout town. Dinner was served in our room and breakfast was served in the downstairs dining area. Each dish was explained to us which is not always the case at some other ryokan we have stayed at. The meals were excellent, always included extra rice, and often included local specialties, including one of our new found favorites, hooba miso. The staff is super friendly and any time we entered or exited the ryoken, someone appeared to say hello or goodbye. Upon our return each day, hot washcloths were delivered to our room and there was always fresh hot water and a small snack waiting for us. They couldn't have been better. I would definitely stay again.
