Quaint hotel in the Japanese Alps near the bus stop to Takayama and with a beautiful view of the snowy mountains. Traditional Japanese rooms with tatami, equipped with onsen kimonos and pajamas. Rooms not perfectly clean and staff not very courteous. We had dinner with interesting local cuisine and good breakfast served at the table. All in all a nice experience.

This is an older facility. But for the price I paid, with 2 meals included, it was reasonable. The room was dated but clean . Tatami was comfortable. The hallway has a smell of mildew. But the location is perfect if you are going to Kamikochi. It is only 5 minutes' walk to the bus station. The parking at the hotel is free, and we were allowed to park there after checking out while we were in Kamikochi. The dinner and breakfast were fairly good, Onsens were excellent. I had the outdoor onsen all to myself. There were lots of cute, colorful decorations in the hallway.

Ryokan with Onsen in the Japanese Alps, unfortunately the structure is very dated, everywhere a hint of old hovers, the room was not spotless, the staff was not welcoming and patient, we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast which unfortunately proved to be the worst dining experience in Japan, we did not eat practically nothing .L Onsen would also be nice but badly kept and very shabby : for the amount paid and considered the high levels always found in Japan a really bad experience. You'll definitely find better
