It was a great stay. Very accommodating staff. Cultural rooms and very clean. Had both private and public Onsen.

I do not get all the great reviews of this place. There are some very good things: - location, very central and close to all the places where you want to go - the experience, the futon beds, it is nice onsen ryokan and it gives you the experience of it - the staff, great service, they are all over the place to make your stay a great experience But there are downsides: - the last renovation is from 2002, and the whole place needs an extensive renovation. Everything in the room is old, the airco, the sofa has cracks, the bathroom is outdated, basically the whole place is old - the price is ridiculous. The ask a 5 start premium price - the place is more expensive than a 5 star hotel in the center of Tokyo. The relation between price and quality is completely lost. You need to pay for everything extra, the parking, use of the private onsen. The breakfast is average. The coffee is not good. Even the wifi quality is very weak - that was the least that could have fixed. This is a tourist place with a ridiculous price with very nice service. But not good enough to ever come back

Quite a hit to spend two nights in this riokan. It is very well located, 5 minutes from the station. The staff couldn't be more friendly and willing to make your stay pleasant. The rooms very clean and makes you live Japanese style. Breakfast allows you to choose from three varieties. Rich and very well presented. We're sorry we didn't try Japanese, but we were just in time to catch the train. And, of course, you can't leave here without enjoying your onsen. Quite the experience. A highly recommended establishment.
