Be careful which room you book as our triple room in the Tenroyaku building is extremely tired and dated. With the third bed there is no space, carpets are stained, bathroom is too small for 3 people and also has no grouting around the bath. It’s extremely noisy in the corridor-all night kids and people running up and down shouting as well as noise from above. The lobby of the hotel looks nice but I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

I recommend this hotel, a bit far from the town center (though reachable on foot) but definitely complete with everything: 2 Onsens for free use, one of which is truly beautiful with an outdoor rock pool, spacious rooms (we took the Japanese one with tatami, sleeping on the futon: an experience to do at least once... not more because you practically sleep on the floor!) and complete with everything with double sink, shower-tub, small sitting area, etc. Furthermore, the hotel offers kimonos and slippers to use for breakfast as well as for moving around inside. Maximum cleanliness. Excellent breakfasts, both international and Japanese, with a wide choice. To finish, very friendly and helpful staff. Compliments!
