I notice that this hotel hires a lot of foreign workers hence the service level has degraded just as expected. I paid for a 2 hour buffet on a weekday and got surprised that they are suddenly the restaurant is closing early due to less customers in less than an hour I started eating.. leaving me to scramble for food before the buffet closes. This is what happens if a lot of foreigner workers run the property.. Japanese culture such as honor are now being disregarded.

I stayed in a room with terrace open-air bath. The rooms were clean and stylish, and the open-air bath with terrace was awesome, with sparkling wine in the fridge. Dinner was a buffet, but we had a lot of variety and enjoyed it. There is no problem as there is a shuttle bus to Yubata. When you come back again with good service and customer service, I think you will be taken care of at Now Resort Hotel.

Good dinner buffet! Seriously it was fantastic. You won’t get lots of sashimi or salmon roe or high end seafood, but you will get crab legs and very high quality Japanese food. Great variety. Very clean and renovated and large restaurant. Lots of people eating here. They even had a pianist and singer. I will say that I wish the floor of the outdoor onsen didn’t have its paint peeling off. Location is right next door to ski lifts. Ten minute shuttle to main town. Shuttles run frequently enough and if not it’s a fifteen minute walk only. There is a small gym with lighter weights and cardio machines. I would come here just for the dinner buffet! Even if you’re not a guest here it’s worth coming to IMO.
