Kusatsu Onsen Daitokan

This is my second time staying here because they allow pets. Why? I'm completely enchanted by the hot springs of Kusatsu! Last time I stayed for 4 nights. This time I stayed for 5 nights. I always stay with the buffet breakfast and dinner. The pet fee is included in the room rate for the pet-friendly rooms. It's a great deal!! It's a good deal, but the pet-friendly rooms are on the 3rd floor, so you can't use the elevator unless you put your dog in a carrier bag or cart, so you have to use the stairs when you go for a walk, so it's a test of physical strength! It's probably hard when you get older... (tears) Anyway, the location of this inn is great! It's in front of the Yubatake. It's right in the middle of Kusatsu Town. If you choose a room, you can see the whole view of the Yubatake from your room. It's in the Harajuku of Kusatsu Town? lol, so it's always full of people. Free from the manju shop nearby!! You can also get a sample of hot spring manju! This is just my opinion... As long as the hot springs don't dry up, I think Kusatsu will be the only town in Japan that will continue to thrive. Because of its convenient location, tourists can enter the four public baths for free!!! "Shirahata-no-Yu," "Chiyo-no-Yu," "Jizo-no-Yu," and "Nikawa-no-Yu." The inn itself is very old. It's not luxurious either. But the staff are friendly. The buffet has a wide variety of food, but you gradually run out of things you want to eat, so you don't overeat and you don't get fat! ←This is very important for women! The large public bath draws from the Yubatake hot spring, so the hot water at the inn is plenty, but it's also a great place for people who want to visit the public baths. What's so good about public baths? It's fun to take a bath and chat with all kinds of travelers and locals 🎵 The public baths are designed differently, so it's nice to look at the buildings and get nostalgic, thinking, "I wonder if baths used to be like this~~" 🎵 Also, the colorful yukatas are free!! So you can choose and wear as many as you like! It's a lot of fun♪←This is also important for women! There's a lot of "free!!" in the text so far! lol Free!! I love it, so this is a place that really moves me lol

It was my first time to visit Kusatsu Onsen. I was drawn to the words "Daitokan" that I kept seeing while watching videos of Yubatake, so I stayed in a room with a view of Yubatake. As expected, the building is old and there are some outdated parts here and there, but when you look down on the Yubatake from your room, you don't care about that. There are three things worth mentioning. 1. Large public bath at Yubatake Izumigen The quality of the spring water is so good that you will be convinced that this is Kusatsu Onsen. 2. Deliciousness of dinner: It was carefully prepared and delicious. 3. Touring the hot springs at two group hotels, it's great to be able to experience three hot spring sources.

The room was in poor hygiene and dilapidated, and the dressing cabinet in the bathroom had holes in it. The outer clothes I prepared were not washed, they were so dirty that I could not wear them. There was black mold all around the hot spring walls and it didn't feel like it had been cleaned. There was a smell of cigarette smoke in the room, and the smell of smoke on the pillow was even stronger. The service attitude of the front desk staff is poor and the buffet is mediocre. The fruit is good. The hotel stipulates that pets are not allowed, but I saw many people staying with pets. It is rare to experience such hotel quality in Japan. If we must find something better, the waiters in all restaurants are pretty good, and their hospitality and service are also good. The coats provided by the hotel are so dirty that they look like kitchen work clothes.
