I was looking forward to visiting the baths. There are two Ikaho hot springs, and the baths were spacious, so I enjoyed them as much as I expected. There is also a foot bath on site, and I was able to relax watching the carp in the pond and listening to the sound of the water. We had a buffet for food. Perhaps because there are various dining times, there were not many people overlapping when eating, and the atmosphere was calm. The live kitchen offered dishes such as grilled local fish, so it was great to be able to enjoy local ingredients. I was also happy that there was free drink service in the lobby. The staff were all kind, smiling, and generally very pleasant.

We just stayed for one night in a tatami room in Hotel Tenbo. There is a nice Japanese-style garden with a red bridge fronting the hotel. It is a nice hotel with many amenities for the comfort and pleasure of guests and good facilities for guests with special needs. The onsen pools and amenities are well equipped and furnished to give guests a wonderful and relaxing experience. Unfortunately, the furniture and fixtures and linens in the our room are very dated and it is very annoying that wifi connection is so poor that we couldnt get connection throughout our stay.

We went in late October for the Autumn Momiji leaves at the famous Kajika Bashi (Red Bridge in Momiji Leaves) with the flowing gold river. Definitely too early but the staff was happy to give us a ride to/from the location for the evening light up. (That's nice so we could try great osake with dinner and not drive) I especially liked the Japanese-style garden in the front of the hotel. It was very pretty lit up at night. Good food, pleasant onsen, quiet surroundings, sleeping well leads to a very relaxing stay.
