Ryokan Migiwatei Ochikochi

This is my first stay. I used it for my birthday celebration. Oh. You're going in here. I walked in through an alley that made me think, "Whoa! This is an emotional entrance that makes you think. The Seto Inland Sea spreads out in front of you, and you can watch the Seto Inland Sea forever after taking a bath on the large sofa on the veranda. Dinner was a room meal, which was very good. I was especially impressed with the tai shabu-shabu and the tai meshi that I tightened. The beer I drank in the lounge just outside the hotel entrance was very good, and the private bath in the first bath in the early morning was open to the sun. Breakfast is served at the restaurant, with a choice of Japanese and Western cuisine. I ate Western food, but the bread was very good - at dinner, I got a sweet from the inn as a birthday gift. Thank you♪ It was worth going all the way from Sapporo.

I chose this inn because I wanted to stay in Setouchi. It was a wonderful stay. It's an inn facing the sea in a small historic port town, and a narrow path from the road leads to quaint buildings standing by the sea. The lounge-style rooms, corridors and lobby all have a taste. I chose a room in the "Wide View Twin" category. I was lost with the corner twin, but I am glad I chose Sensuijima, the sea from the 4th floor, which is very nice. The room is over 50 m² in size and has an open-air hot spring bath with ocean views for great lodging. The food was also wonderful. Dinner was a premium kaiseki that was upgraded from a regular kaiseki and we could enjoy delicious food. There were many kinds of sake and I tasted plenty with beer, sake, wine and food. For breakfast, we could choose Japanese and Western food, so we chose Japanese and Western food together to taste both. The miso soup made with the okoze from the dinner was delicious. One unfortunate thing is that the private baths were not available due to boiler failure, but I was glad to have used the baths at the nearby group hotel, Gofutei, for free. It is recommended because you can use the observation open-air bath and public bath on the roof with transportation. It was an overnight stay, but it is close to the port of Tomonoura, and is a very wonderful resort with atmosphere, food, and rooms.

Small and beautifully appointed ryokan/onsen set in the fishing village of Tomonoura about a p mins from Fukuyama. The rooms have balconies that look out to sea. Each room has its own private onsen. Complimentary drinks, Yakutia's to be worn to the dining room and other public areas. The set breakfast and dinner menu was extraordinary. Beautifully presented with some unique and different dishes served by very attentive and respectful attendants. A fantastic experience which will make for wonderful memories!
