Comfort Hiroshima

Good hotel with average experience. Location very good with 711 and lawsons next door (and opposite) but fairly average experience. Staff wouldn't order taxi for you, apparently against policy. They wouldn't organize luggage forwarding either and didn't really speak good english so hard to work things out. Breakfast included so very good value but wouldn't recommend the food. They give you a plastic partitioned tray to collect and eat off like you are in prison. Rooms however were very comfortable and best sleep in the beds which were the softest we've stayed in as most in Japan are very firm beds.

It is a 5-minute walk from Heiwa Park, and it is easily accessible in front of Hiroden Chuden-mae Tram Station. I used it as a single, but the room was compact, clean and easy to use, and I was satisfied with the 11,000 yen for a Friday night with breakfast. There are many restaurants and taverns in the area.

Small rooms, but it is normal in Japan, it was bad because we were given a double room that had to be literally crawled to be able to enter the second bed, there was no corridor in the middle and the bags could not be put but at the foot of the bed so it made impossible to pass. I know there are larger rooms that are perhaps also more comfortable, but we were in a group, with organized travel and I imagine they booked the smaller ones. It has a very spacious breakfast hall with amenitis to sit at any time and have tea, it is to be appreciated. Breakfast is varied to be Japan, which costs us that in most hotels only contemplate Asian breakfast and not European. It is relatively central and had good cleanliness..The service was good.
