The hotel is located on Okunoshima, and the location is excellent. The rooms are traditional Japanese-style tatami rooms, small and without private showers, so guests must use the public baths. The building is a bit old, but very clean. Meals are buffet-style, with plenty of variety and good quality. The hotel offers bicycle rentals, which are recommended for exploring the island. One downside: they don’t sell rabbit food, so visitors should bring their own. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and the reviewer wouldn’t have chosen a different place in Takehara.

We use it every year for the Bon festival. The building itself feels a bit old, but the hot springs are very pleasant and the food is very satisfying every time. It is my favorite inn for families.

Arrive by boat around noon, have a set meal with octopus in the restaurant, then rent a bicycle Until check-in time, the students visited poison gas-related facilities slowly, feeding the rabbits scraps of Chinese cabbage and other vegetables they had brought with them. Two hours around was all that was needed. The goal was to relax slowly, so we checked in at 3 o'clock, fed the rabbits again and took a bath. The spring is radon. I think it is very well warmed and includes. Perhaps because the weather was not so good, there were few guests, and I took three baths, late at night and early in the morning, but no one was there. The village has been open for 60 years, and the building was undeniably old, but I had the impression it was well managed. This time it was a corner room on the 4th floor with a good view of the sea, but the weather was bad and it was disappointing. The meal was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. In particular, I think the Setouchi okedon breakfast was good. The staff were all very responsive, so I was able to check out comfortably. The observation of sea fireflies was also good. Rabbit food is also available at the port, but you might want to bring your own vegetable scraps. Rabbits eat a lot. If you want to go around the island, there is a hill, so renting an electrically power assisted bicycle will make it easier. Usanchu soft serve was also delicious.
