We had a disappointing hotel stay. The hotel is old and run-down, and the breakfast and dinner was very mediocre. I also felt misled regarding the room I booked. I posted a picture of our view - note the green rooftop ! When we asked to change to a room on a higher floor, we were informed it was closed. Since the place was so dead, we believed them. However, I noticed that people were occupying the higher floor! I have posted a photo of the rooms facing the lake so you can see which rooms truly have unobstructed views. Never coming back.

I checked in at 3 p.m. and stayed in my room drinking beer until the bath dinner. For some reason, if you look at the cold thermometer, it's 19 degrees, it's 5 p.m., you check in, and you heat it for two hours. Worst of all, the equipment is too old, so I've caught a cold, and I'm never going to do it again.

This is my first stay at this hotel and my second stay in the Tsuruga group. The Tsuruga Group has a unified decoration and atmosphere. I think it's good to have a feature. This inn has a great view from the window and various waterfowl. It's good to have binoculars on hand. The room itself has been renovated and is beautiful. The hot springs are located on the first and second floors, and are gender-swapped, but the quality of the water was the same in both cases, and they contained red iron. I enjoyed alternating between warm and hot water. The water was very warm and nice. The meal was a Western course meal and was very delicious. I wasn't that good at raw oysters, but they were fresh and delicious, and the dessert was a solid and delicious course. It was buffet in the morning, but of course there was seafood, but there was also a good meat dish, which was delicious. I was also impressed with the attention of the bath staff. He asked me if I was the first to do it, at the entrance or in the dressing room. I was approached by several people, not just one, so I think everyone is being very careful. I thought so. Unfortunately I couldn't see the sunset this time, so I'd like to visit again next time.
