The facility is old, but it was partially renovated and well-cleaned, so I could stay comfortably. The public bath is spacious, and the ocean view from the semi-open-air bath makes you feel refreshed. The quality of the spring was a chloride spring, moist and soothing to the skin. Dinner buffets are not plentiful, but you can also make your own seafood bowl with sashimi. They also cooked Genghis Khan and Ramen in the live kitchen. They were all delicious and filling.

It was cheap but I felt very satisfied. The staff were very helpful. The Western-style room was not very new, but the beach was right in front of me and the sound of the waves and the breeze were very pleasant. I was satisfied with the bath and the food, but my wife said she was disappointed that the curry for dinner was lamb. Still, it was a hot spring I would definitely like to visit again.

It is one of the hotels we stayed in on our visit to Hakodate.. It is well situated overlooking the ocean, terrific looking out our window seeing and hearing the ocean and the sea breeze was really welcome We had terrific smorgasboard dinner and breakfast, great variety of food and the staff were always attentive and helpful. The hot baths were a great experience, especially liked the open air one that opened up beach side, The hotel rooms are Japanese style with Tatami Mat floors which means no wearing of shoes in the room . Beds are laid out on the floor , found them very comfortable.. The free wifi worked well. We enjoyed our stay there, a real bonus overlooking the ocean and it was clean and tidy
