Smile Hotel Otaru

I used it for a business trip. If it's just to sleep, it's fine. The lack of outlets and the fact that there weren't any near the pillow were a bit inconvenient.

If you want to stay cheaply in Otaru, I think this is it. I stayed here for the first time, and it's as good as anything. The bath is also new and beautiful with a large public bath.

It is a business hotel that has been around for about 5 minutes on foot from Otaru Station. We have devised some renovations and a public bath in a separate building, but buildings that are over 50 years old are undeniably dilapidated. Prices are going up now because of strong inbound demand, but with a national chain of low-cost hotels set to open soon, how do you respond? The public bath is new and pleasant. However, since it is a separate building, it may be a million in winter. Convenience stores (Seiko Mart) are close by, famous restaurants are just a few minutes' walk away, and the Otaru Canal is conveniently located because it is within walking distance. I excluded this hotel from the assessment because I am not sure if it is responsible, but when I booked it from a major travel site, it was booked in a dormitory room even though the site had a standard twin. I showed them my booking confirmation and negotiated, and they let me into a separate semi-double room (it seems pretty cramped to sleep in a room with a slightly larger bed originally in a single room), but the dormitory room was offered at a cheaper rate on the site, and I have no idea why. I have stayed at this hotel many times because Otaru doesn’t have a family home anymore, so I have to take a hotel when I return home, but this is the first time I have experienced this.
