Enjoyed an overnight stay in an upper floor standard room overlooking the adjacent Nakajima Park. The bedroom and bathroom were modestly sized with furnishings somewhat tired and would benefit from refurbishment. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Nakajima-keen subway station which is on a direct line from Sapporo JR station. Similarly the lively entertainment and restaurant area of Susukino is a 15-20 minute walk or short subway ride away. Highlights were undoubtedly the view and access to the park for a morning run and an exceptional breakfast buffet including sparkling wine. Staff provided a warm welcome.

Prices have soared partly because of the gw. It was more than double the price I normally pay, but it was on a three-star level. Most of the customers are Chinese. The view was nice, but for 25,000 yen, you can stay on the lower floor of the standard twin. Even the table where it is placed is full of rags with the edges completely scraped away. The facilities seemed to collect the cheapest items. The last thing I wanted was a bathroom, all made up of what looked like a plastic unit bath, and I would walk around, and she would chuckle. The toilet seat was tilted. The temperature of the room cannot be adjusted. I can hear a lot of noise in the next room. You won't be able to stay unless you pay less than 10,000 yen.

I stayed in a 13FTwin Room in a high-rise hotel next to Nakajima Park, where the autumn leaves are in full bloom. Although the room was on the opposite side of Nakajima Park, I could see the mountains surrounding Sapporo clearly. The room was not spacious, but it was compact enough that it was usable. Nakajima Park was at the end of the autumn leaves season, and the colorful leaves were competing with each other, but it was a warm day and there were a lot of snow bugs, which was a problem. I didn't get the expensive breakfast, but there was a supermarket and convenience store nearby, so it wasn't a problem. Parking was 1,000 yen a day.
