The Kitano Plaza Rokkoso Hotel is a small hotel situated in a nice calm neighborhood (Kitano) Rooms are small but clean, have a comfortable bed and is full of light (no safety box). Though I only had breakfast at the hotel it was a good buffet of mostly Japanese style breakfast. Food was delicious. The hotel is conveniently located: 15 min walk from two main train stations and plenty of options for eating. Hotel staff is helpful and friendly, though most of them don’t speak English. It is a good location with friendly staff.

one of the most convenient hotel to stay if your plan is to visit Kobe Kitano ijinkan , located just 5 minutes from shin Kobe station if you are coming to Kobe by train or about 30 minutes from Kobe airport . The Hotel it's self is not the most luxury hotel in town but to my opinion very good value for money like less then 7000 yen on week days for a single and excellent breakfast . Located on the hills of kitanozaka not far from bistrot cafe Paris . I have stayed just once bUt still I highly recommend this place either you are travelling by yourself or with friends . Please try to book through the net to have access to discounts . Very friendly staff , english speaker staff behind the reception ,Great location , 10 minutes walk to sannomiya or travel with city loop bus from Kitano dori , Bons vacances a Kobe

I stayed from May 11-14. It was my 1st stay in the hotel, although I've visited Kobe for several times. Room and bf were basic, but I got a good deal with 5,500/night. The good thing, the hotel was surrounded with a nice greenery. Something rare for small/med size hotel in Japan. It was walking distance to Sannomiya station, where you could find ANYTHING. All in all, it was a good choice.
