We stayed here in 2019, it was a very good 4 star hotel. We like the location so returned. The Annex has now been refurbished and it is excellent. Clean, modern and even better views as you are closer to the sea. The annex rooms are a good size, beautifully serviced each day and the whole area is spotlessly clean, we loved the cleaning robot in the lobby! The breakfast is vastly varied and quite international, the breakfast hot dog made us smile! Dining is good, the buffet dinner is extensive and fairly priced, our favourite was the Key West restaurant on the top floor where we had a lovely scallop dinner with Sicilian white wine. Just down the lift and over the road is a good shabu shabu restaurant too. The spa and massage service is also good. This is officially a 4 Star hotel, but could easily be a 5 Star. After we checked out we realised we had left a phone charger (that was rented). I emailed the hotel and they located the charger and very kindly forwarded it back to the rental company in Tokyo. We are looking forward to returning, highly recomended.

I stayed the night before to join Akashi Kaikyo Ohashi Bridge World from Osaka city by car. Unfortunately, the public baths were not available due to construction, but I got a discount ticket to a spa sento nearby and added a bedrock bath to use them. There is a Kobe outlet next to the spa, which is very convenient to shop when it is renewed. The car could be left for 500 yen for 24 hours after entering the store, so I used the garden access elevator to walk to the bridge museum and back. It was a good walking course. The room had a view of the illuminated bridge and I was very satisfied with my stay.

I stayed here for 6 days and it was truly the best experience I have ever had at a hotel! And I have traveled the world for a good part of my career. The entire staff, from the front desk, the restaurants, gift shop and the cleaning crew, were outstanding! I highly recommend you stay here and DEFINITELY dine in at all the restaurants. You will not be disappointed.
