Very average hotel. My room smelled like cigarettes and a constant noise from the ceiling gate kept me up. Superficial cleanliness. The staff was polite, the restaurant in the rooftop is to be avoided at all costs, I will review it separately.

We stayed here only one night, and it had been booked through agency. The hotel is located 1,200 km from the station, about 800 meters from the castle and another 800 meters from the samurai district so very central. It is also located inside a shopping center and has the metro entrance in front of the main door. You go up to the 16th floor for reception, and you are greeted by a beautiful space with city views! Solar staff, friendly and very welcoming place! Rooms a little bigger than the normal than the typical Japanese pity about the step to enter the bathroom, which at night becomes a problem, especially if you are sleepy and its noise, as well as the ventilation, also very noisy. For the rest nothing to say, indeed, instead of having breakfast as usual in the bars adjacent to the hotel we decided to pay the supplement to be able to do it in the hotel and we were very satisfied with both the variety, quantity and quality of the food, Mediterranean and not! Besides, what a view! Council to have breakfast in front of the windows, it's a really nice view

Moramare

This Holiday Inn is perfectly located opposite the wet market and on top of a well equipped mall. The reception area is airy, smells great and has a welcoming layout. We booked a twin standard room which was pretty much out of date and in need of a thorough touch-up. The curtains didn’t fully close, the bathroom really small and had a plastic feeling. The beds were very comfortable though. The absolute 100% downside of this hotel is that the airconditioning is not functioning properly. We were told that - as it rained outside - only outside air is blown in (without being cooled). Believe me: the air outside was way cooler that the temperature of our room. A real nuisance if you want to get a good night sleep. I won’t complain too much though as we only paid €52 per night.
