Located within the Kanazawa Station complex, I expected basic accommodation, but the Via Inn exceeded all expectations. Rooms were clean, well appointed and extremely well sound proofed (no station noise!). The hotel offers many amenities which can be collected as needed from the lobby area (level 3). The variety of these convenience items was impressive and I believe offering items in this way must reduce wastage as people only take what they need (via an honesty system). Staff were welcoming and friendly and the location was extremely convenient for travel by train yet still in walking distance from the major sites of the town.

Hotel helpful. A very good point is that it is inside the station so it is easy to get to and from to take the train. The staff is helpful. Some of the amenities come at an extra cost. A con but we already knew was a little noise, because it is precisely inside the station. One of the points that we think if it could be improved, is that inside the room, the smoke detector has a green light that disturbs all night.

I think a more comfortable hotel than athis is difficult. Inside the station, easy to find, a step away from the tracks and even from the buses in case you want to take the bus and not the train. Clean, nice room. What else to ask in short! We had a very good time and would recommend it.
