Shodoshima International Hotel

I stay with a package that included one night and two meals, along with a stunning view of Angel Road. The view from my room was great For dinner, I had a local sashimi and beef set meal with 11 dishes, plus unlimited sōmen and udon. The highlight for me was the local dipping sauce—it became my main dish because it was so delicious! Every day brought a new surprise. Breakfast was another wonderful experience, featuring a variety of local tsukemono (Japanese pickles). The miso soup was especially surprising—not the usual kind, but a rich and flavorful white miso soup. I loved it so much that I had three bowls! Lucky it is a buffet!! The hotel also has an incredible hot spring, with both an indoor pool and a small outdoor pool. The outdoor pool overlooks the ocean, and soaking in the hot spring under a 2°C sky full of stars was truly magical. I was so lucky—no one else was there after dinner at 7 PM, which made the experience even more special. The hotel is incredibly convenient—just a 5-minute drive from the ferry pier, and they offer a free shuttle service. I arrived at 11 AM, and the hotel kindly took care of my luggage, delivering it straight to my room. I was able to check in when I returned. A truly fantastic stay! Highly recommended.

這次的四國岡山會議旅行.於12/2當晚入住小豆島國際酒店.於前3天寫信告知有4位高齡年長者行動不方便.到達時領隊請求飯店人員協助.其中一位相當惡劣的岡田先生態度冷漠.拒絕幫忙.隔日答應好從3間行動不便者房間下行李.也失信未協助 .如果貴飯店對行動不便者無法提供協助可以事先講明.無須態度冷傲.一副鄙視外國旅客的作為實在無法接受. 甚至惡意寫信去旅行社批評旅客 .作為旅行從業人員難以苟同. 現階段高齡客人會越來越多.貴飯店比起其他飯店來說.服務及もてなし低落很多.另包租了一個會議室1700開始.沒有茶水請他提前開燈也不願意幫忙開燈. 也規定不能在會議內裡面喝水.規定讓人無法接受. 晚餐時服務人員稀少菜色不佳茶水也不事先準備. 而且房間非常的老舊.是相當差勁的一家酒店 期待貴飯店能檢討.特別是岡田先生惡意行為令人無法接受.且破壞台灣旅客對日本旅行的好印象.. 今回の四国岡山会議旅行について、以下の内容をお伝えします。 12月2日の夜、小豆島国際ホテルに宿泊しました。宿泊の3日前に、高齢の方が4名おり、行動が不便であることを事前にお知らせしました。到着時、ツアーのリーダーがホテルスタッフにサポートをお願いしましたが、岡田さんという非常に態度の悪いスタッフの方が冷淡な対応をし、助けを拒否しました。翌日、行動が不便な方の部屋3部屋から荷物を運ぶことを約束しましたが、その約束も守られませんでした。 もし貴ホテルが行動不便な方へのサポートを提供できない場合は、事前にその旨を明確に伝えてください。態度が冷たく、外国人旅行者を軽視するような振る舞いは到底受け入れられません。また、岡田さんが旅行代理店に対して旅客を批判する手紙を送ったことも悪意が感じられ、旅行業界の一員として到底同意できません。 今後、高齢の旅行者はますます増加することが予想されます。他のホテルと比べ、貴ホテルのサービスや「おもてなし」は非常に低い水準に感じました。例えば、17:00開始の会議室を予約した際、茶水の提供がなく、照明を早めにつけてほしいとお願いしても協力してもらえませんでした。また、会議室内で水を飲むことを禁止する規定も納得がいきません。 夕食時はスタッフが少なく、料理の内容も良くない上に、茶水の準備すらされていませんでした。さらに、部屋も非常に古く、快適さを感じられないホテルでした。 貴ホテルには改善を求めます。特に岡田さんの悪意ある行為は受け入れ難く、日本旅行に対する台湾の旅行者の良い印象を大きく損なうものです。今後の改善を期待しています。 During this trip for the Shikoku-Okayama conference, we stayed at the Shodoshima International Hotel on the night of December 2. Three days prior to the stay, we sent a letter informing the hotel that there were four elderly guests with mobility issues. Upon arrival, our tour leader requested assistance from the hotel staff, but Mr. Okada, one of the staff members, displayed extremely poor behavior. His attitude was indifferent, and he refused to help. The next day, although he promised to assist with moving luggage from the three rooms occupied by the guests with mobility issues, he broke his promise and did not provide any help. If your hotel is unable to offer assistance to guests with mobility issues, it should be clearly communicated in advance. There is no need for such cold and arrogant behavior, nor is it acceptable to display disdain toward foreign travelers. Additionally, sending a malicious letter to the travel agency to criticize the guests is utterly unacceptable and inappropriate behavior for someone in the travel industry. With an increasing number of elderly travelers nowadays, your hotel’s level of service and hospitality is significantly inferior compared to other hotels. For example, we rented a meeting room that started at 5:00 PM. Not only was there no tea service, but even a request to turn on the lights earlier was refused. Furthermore, the regulation prohibiting drinking water in the meeting room is unreasonable and unacceptable. The dinner service was also unsatisfactory, with very few staff members present, poor food quality, and no preparation of tea or water in advance. Additionally, the rooms were very outdated and uncomfortable, making this a truly disappointing hotel experience. We hope your hotel will review and improve its services. Mr. Okada’s malicious behavior, in particular, is intolerable and severely damages the positive impression Taiwanese travelers have of traveling in Japan. We strongly urge your hotel to take steps toward improvement.
