Hotel Harvest Hakone Koushien

I think it has been five years since I started using Hakoshu Koshien. I think it's about once a year. He and his wife enjoy a trip once a month. I traveled a lot to Izu, and I found some of my favorite inns. There is an atmosphere of inn, but the first requirement is good food. I've found Japanese, Western and Buffet inns that are all delicious, but sadly, most of the inn's meals are less inspiring than before. I think the rise in prices is huge. I was looking forward to Hakone Koshien's morning and evening buffet. It was my first use in about a year, and I wanted this one not to disappoint. Let's start with a dinner buffet. The shrimp tempura is crispy and very delicious. Roast beef is also delicious with sauce. The Chinese side dishes are particularly well-seasoned. The sweets were also very rich and I was very satisfied. As expected, this is the best buffet for dinner. Breakfast buffet is just a side dish (no need for a side dish in the morning?) But. The grilled fish is cold and dry. I thought it would be OK to have sashimi. The meat is meat and potatoes, did you have any? I love white rice, so tororo, hot spring eggs, and furikake (sprinkling) are good enough side dishes. Perhaps because the expectations were high, I used to be excited about which one to choose. The large public bath has a strong smell of chlorine and does not feel like a hot spring, and it is far from the room, so you are in the mood to enter again and again. I like the room, so I didn't feel like I had lost it overall. The proximity to Yokohama is also attractive.

Beautiful location and atmosphere. Onsen lovely. Upstairs pool also lovely on top floor with great view. Room was spacious. NonEnglish speaking but staff friendly. Nightly food buffet was delicious.

The spacious Japanese and Western-style rooms had a sense of cleanliness, and the fresh greenery seen from the windows soothed my heart. The outdoor bath was especially impressive! It was an exceptional time to soak leisurely in the water while listening to birdsong in a space full of openness. The food was delicious and it was the best hotel as a base for sightseeing in Hakone.
