Loved my stay here, the highlight of my trip to Japan. The onsen and garden were actually life changing. Meals were beautiful but too fishy for me & most of my group. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had extremely comfortable beds. Staff were kind and helpful. Great value, peaceful and quiet resort, quick walk from train station and close to cute shops and restaurants. I wish I stayed way longer.

In this ryokan you can live an authentic experience, that of sleeping on tatami in a fabulous ryokan. In front of this was a huge Japanese garden, with several plants and a small island. The best thing were the hot baths, the thermal ones: they were regenerating and relaxing. There was one inside and one outside. If you are passing through Hakone, I highly recommend this hotel!
