The location is really good - right in the heart of Yokohama just a short walk from the red brick houses and waterfront. It is just across the street from Bashamichi train station, which has direct trains to Shibuya, and JR Sakuragicho station is only a short walk away by pedestrian bridge. The lobby has a lot of lockers and secure cables to store your luggage (all DIY) and they also have the standard Toyoko Inn amenities such as a washer/dryer and free breakfast. The room was clean and tidy as usual with strong water pressure for a nice shower after a long day sightseeing in the cold.

It is located a 4-minute walk from JR Sakuragicho Station and close to Bashamichi Station on the Minatomirai Line, and is within walking distance of Chinatown and Yamashita Park, which are major tourist areas in Yokohama. The services are the same for all hotel chains, so you can use it with peace of mind. The free breakfast had all the basic necessities. There are many convenience stores nearby, and Yokohama City Hall, a small commercial facility, is right in front of the hotel, so it is convenient for long-term stays.

I stayed here the night before catching a cruise ship from Yokohama. I arrived at the hotel around 12 o'clock, left my suitcase at the front desk, and went out sightseeing in Yokohama. The front desk was very friendly and I felt at ease. This was my first time using self-check-in at a Toyoko Inn. The room was clean and spotless, just like a regular Toyoko Inn. I was able to relax and enjoy the view of the Kishamichi from my room. I would like to stay here again if I visit Yokohama. I had breakfast during the off-peak hours, so I was able to eat my breakfast at my leisure.
