Hoshino Resort KAI Aso

The facilities, rooms and food were wonderful and I was able to spend a blissful time. Thank you very much. On the other hand, when you enter your room after check-in, I heard that there is a possibility of noise from around 9am because it is under construction. I thought that if it was just sound, there was no choice, but the next day, when I took an open-air bath after breakfast, I saw construction workers. The man is visible from the top of the seat, probably because he was working at the top. I was also looking forward to the open-air bath in the morning, so I feel very sorry. We would appreciate it if we could respond as soon as possible for our future guests. Thank you very much.

We paid 120,000 yen to stay together, but it wasn't the right service, food or facilities for the price. The staff will only respond as per the manual. I don't feel any love for the service. I left more than half of the red beef sukiyaki for dinner because the oil was terrible. I couldn't even handle the allergy foodstuffs because I didn't declare my allergy at the time of booking, I was forced to write a liability avoidance letter, and they didn't discuss the request to remove the ingredients so I didn't have to change the food, so when I brought the food, I just explained that it had allergy ingredients in it. I was really dumbfounded. I have stayed at many different inns and facilities, but it is the worst service. I stayed at Hoshino Resort Okuirase again last year, and it was not worth the price either. Hoshino Resort is just too expensive and hard to book, and nowhere is it worth the price.

Very luxurious hotel with chalet/cabin type rooms with private onsen in Mt Aso. While the rooms themselves have views only of the woodlands, the main building has an amazing views of teh five craters of Mt Aso. The private onsen is excellent for foreigners like my wife and I not comfortable with public onsen. The food provided is excellent which is typical Hoshino Kai flare if you are aware of the brand. At Mt Aso, we were very well taken care of by our assigned host, Ms Wakana. She took excellent care of us and provided us with excellent information in English of the cultural aspects of the cuisine served. We are very grateful of her effort to make us feel more at home and welcomes.
