Hotel Kadoman

Pros: • facilities are newly built • clean onsen area • large and clean dining area • friendly staff Cons: • phone in room unable to call reception; strange that this hasn’t been fixed given. that the newly built hotel building has only been in operation for a short while • musky smell coming from aircon • no drinking water provided for guests using onsen • lack of hangers in room • lack of hanging space for clothes in room, and lack of hand towel in bathroom

Pros Hot Water Quality Excellent Even the paper cup design next to the onsen water purifier is beautiful/ Wardrobe beach with key locking on the onsen/ 1,500 beds in 1 hour Private bath can be borrowed/ Outdoor onsen alone can be completely cut/ Front staff Very friendly Cons hotel The overall facilities are not new. Onsen facilities are not modern. But nevertheless, the ounce water is good, the front staff are friendly and the water is selling for 1,000 yen per bottle.

私たちが泊まった部屋は4階の和洋室でしたが、大きな窓から阿蘇５岳が見えます。お料理は和会席でしたが、地元の料理はとても美味しかった。源泉かけ流しの個別風呂があるので、いいお湯でした。風呂の種類も多く、料理も品数が多く、凄く満足しました。ただ中国からツアーが多くて、ちょっと気になりました。（凄くうるさかったのに、ホテルのスタッフは全然....） We stayed the room of Japanese-Western of 4th floor, that we could see Aso volcano via large windows. The dinner was Kaiseki and the local cuisine was very delicious. Due to there are 6 kinds of style of hot spring separate rooms, that I was really satisfied. Just too many Chinese tours stay here, that I felt a little ... (They were too much noisy, but staffs never ask them for quiet.)
