Very comfortable hostel, less than 10 min walking from the kyoto station, super friendly and competent staff (with very good english). Kitchen with boiler/fridge/microwave/grill and a lot of tools...

I really enjoyed staying here, it was very clean and the facilities were good. There was a minimal style but with lovely hardwood floors. It had a very traditional japanese feel so was a great place...

Enjoyed the stay at Shiori-Yado. Few things you need to know, this hostel will closed at 12-4pm daily. Check in time is from 4pm till 9pm. No elevator in the hostel, you need to carry your luggage up...
