Hostel Mundo Chiquito

Very traditional Japanese hostel, quite small but nice, the garden is very nice'small but nice, staff were all very friendly, the beds have lots of room, big curtains so you feel like your in your own room, only thing I will say is next to the door it can get a little cold at night but if you just ask for another blanket I'm sure it would be fine

The feel of the hotel was nice and friendly. The guy at the desk was helpful and friendly. The room was small but good. Shower and toilet was close by at the hall. All together it was a good place for a good price. In most rooms you have to sleep on a futon bed on the ground.

I can't even explain how much I loved this hostel. I'm beyond happy it's been recommended to us. Everything was perfect - the friendly, English-speaking staff, the price, the location (literally in the center of Kyoto), the whole environment... The hostel is made in traditional Japanese style, everything is so tiny and cozy (be prepared for very small spaces. I see it as a good thing, but someone might be taken aback ;)). If you want to enjoy Kyoto's spirit, this is the place to go. Thank you for an amazing week! When I come to Kyoto again, this is where I'll go. 10/10 ~ from Czech Republic
