A highly recommended hotel for its comfort, price and location, very comfortable beds. Room with very practical kitchen. Breakfast maybe a little sparse, not too varied. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hopefully I can come back again.

We stayed here for 5 nights as part of our honeymoon. The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything you could need after being out sightseeing. We liked the little kitchenette that meant you had the option of making your own breakfast/dinner if you wanted. We didn't have the breakfast offered by the hotel so can't comment on its quality. The location was really good for what we needed. There is a subway station just up the road and is a couple of stops from Kyoto station which is brilliant for daytrips and arriving/departing. We used the luggage delivery service both checking in and checking out, and the hotel sorted everything for us. After staying in a small hotel room in Tokyo, the space and experience in this hotel was perfect!

Sad to hear this branch has now closed. Love this hotel, it gave so much but was also so affordable at the same time. The staff were warm and welcoming and the hotel was kept in a really good condition. Was planning to go back to Kyoto this year and will be sad to not be staying here after many years of doing so.
