Hotel Yunomoto

The hotel is not close to the station but they offered free pickup services. Staffs are all very friendly and helpful. You can enjoy the open air onsen with great views no matter it's day time or night time. Our family including our little boy enjoyed very much with the stay as the staffs have made you feel like home. Their price in fact is very reasonable as an onsen including breakfast and dinner. But don't put too much expetcations on food as we tried other onsens which are of higher quality. Their services are superb, staffs are all very friendly and have taken care all your needs. Cable car tickets are sold in the hotel as well and it is so close that you can walk around 2-3 minutes and can reach out to see the Mount Gozaisho. I would also like to thank you for the staff who has made the Apanman ballon for my little boy and also give me an ice bag for my little boy who knock his head with a swollen wound. They are super caring and lovable. Thank you for giving us this great time!!

This hotel is far away from station but the hotel provide free pickup service from the station. Hotel is next to Mount Gozaisho. We can walk to entrance of Mount Gozaisho within 5 minutes. Room view is great which can see the Mount Gozaisho and cable car. Dinner served inside the room with great service. Buffet breakfast is provided in the hall but less choices. After visiting Mount Gozaisho, their staff provided free transportation to station. Great service.

Three friends joined me for a weekend stay at Hotel Yunomoto. For a very decent price (by ryokan standards ) we got a large room, a huge dinner, and an uncharacteristically extensive breakfast buffet. We couldn't eat all the food at dinner, it was that much. Of course it was beautifully presented. But one goes to a ryokan for the onsen. Although we were told the hotel was full we never had a crowded time in the baths. The outdoor rotenburo was particularly lovely. Located at the top of the hotel it had a nice view of the mountains which wasn't blocked by a bamboo screen as is typically the case. Location near the ropeway was a bonus. What we enjoyed most however was the view of the mountains and the sound of the waterfall. ..a perfect setting for a relaxing weekend out of the city!
