We chose the "Day trip bathing plan with lunch for two" from the gift catalogue. Apparently it has been selected as one of the "100 best sunsets in Japan," and the location overlooking the Pacific Ocean is simply amazing! The meal was a course meal using locally produced ingredients, and it was neither good nor bad, just average. But eating while looking at the ocean view was amazing. We used the bath before the guests checked in, so we had a luxurious bath time in a private setting. The large public bath was heated and at a comfortable temperature, but the water in the open-air natural hot spring bath was lukewarm, and the "tsubo tub" in particular felt cold, which was disappointing.

Since it was a weekday, we had the large public bath to ourselves, so we were able to relax. For dinner, we had delicious spiny lobster and steak, and they also gave us a detailed explanation of the alcohol. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, and the make-yourself seafood bowl was popular. Everyone was making their own sandwiches with different fillings on bread. For both dinner and breakfast, you can choose the first or second half of your meal, so it's great that you can relax in the second half. Above all, the view from the room and the sound of the waves were amazing, and I was able to forget about everyday life and relax.

This hotel is a true jewel, rarely found nowadays in the age of "business hotels". This hotel does not just do business, ii provides you with a home away from home for a day, week or month. It is and has aged, admittedly, but very gracefully. It has character, starting from a generous 32+ sqm room with a superb view out into the sea, solid wood furniture, an excellent public bath on floor one, very comfortable "viewing areas" to appreciate sunsets or read a book at the higher floors, a tasty breakfast (Japanese) in the morning plus some good coffee for those who can`t live without it.
