Ijika Daiichi Hotel Kagura

Visited by shuttle bus from Toba station It's a decent distance from the station, and I'd appreciate a ride. There's a hotel up in the mountains, and there's no convenience stores or other shops in the area. I arrived at the hotel and was taken to my room. The room feels a little old, and the floor is charming. It's like guillemot 😅 It was on the fourth floor of the main building, but it was on the top of the mountain in the first place. Great ocean view...but rainy weather on the day, and as night falls, it's almost like a storm. You can see the fishing port below, but the waves were over the embankment. Now, to the hot springs, the baths and the rooms are a little distant. There are two hot springs, an open-air bath and a large public bath, and a simple bath with no sauna, etc., but it is relaxing. The rest stop has an Eyescan Day service! And by the way, there's coffee and other self-service around the lobby. The food is good, the taste is good. Breakfast is in the form of a buffet, but the taste is satisfying, too. There's a tomboy feeding event in the morning. It's a hotel with great views, weather permitting.

At the Kaiko Kaiseki, the Funamori was fresh and exceptionally delicious, such as spiny lobster, bream, mackerel, etc. Also, it was good that Nakai-san was kind, the cleaning was thorough, we were on the 7th floor of the old building so the room was old but the view was great, Shima Bay could be seen, the view of the Ishigami fishing port, 200 meters above sea level, abalone and turban shells had been added, but I was full and it was fresh that I could not usually eat in Nagoya, there were hot springs and open-air baths and the view was outstanding, and now I want to come with my family again. We used it for a group of 25 people, and the view from the room on the 5th floor was very good, and we were able to catch a glimpse of the fishing boats going back and forth to the port. What's even more impressive is that Tombi is fed every morning from 7.20am, so guests can join in and feed. It is worth a visit to see Tombi being fed by human hands.
