Dormy Inn EXPRESS Sendai Hirosedori

This is a 10-minute walk from JR Sendai Station , located almost above Hirose-dori Station on the subway. It is conveniently located 1 minute from a convenience store and a downtown area nearby. There are several Dormy Inn hotels nearby, and I used the public bath of the natural hot spring Aobanoyu Dormy Inn Sendai ANNEX for this stay. The front desk is normally good, get your card key and go to the elevator (take the amenities in front of the elevator) The room may seem slightly old, but it is simple and clean. The bed is larger and the bed height is lower, which I like. The ancillary equipment in the room was also normal. We had sweets and water in the fridge ... (paper for the feeling of a book ...) and for three nights they provided water every day. I enjoyed the nighttime soba again. We also had ice cream after the bath. Toothbrushes have thin ends and nightgowns are bajjamas. The air conditioning was quiet, the feeling of the bed, the pillow height were perfect for me personally and I was able to sleep well until morning. Breakfast is served with a variety of side dishes, salads and even sweets. (Basically there are two types of side dishes) The network was wi-hi free and stress free. The public baths, service and value for money were all high.

It is located about a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station, and just up the 1st East Exit from Hirosedori Subway Station. Check-in and payment are handled by a staff member, and amenities such as toothbrushes are placed in front of the elevator. The building feels old, but has been well maintained. The rooms are spacious, but since it is not a standard Dormy Inn but a general business hotel, the toilet and bath are unit bath types. The large communal bath has 9 lockers for changing, 3 washing areas, a small bath that can fit about 3 people, a sauna and cold bath but no open-air bath; by the way, this Dormy Inn uses boiled water rather than hot springs. The Japanese and Western buffet for breakfast does not have a large selection, but does offer local dishes such as beef tongue curry, Shiraishi warm noodles, pickled eggplant, and zunda mochi. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Location's perfect, a walking distance from Sendai Station that could be easily reached even carrying a big luggage; it's also at a crossroads, near a shopping area and quite convenient whichever direction you'd like to explore a little bit. We've booked a room with tatami area for 4 people, spacious enough with a little privacy. It's great to try the Japanese style as well. It's considerate to separate the bathroom from the toilet. Staff are helpful with efficient check-in/ out and luggage storage service. Breakfast is simple and I highly recommend the gyutan karee/ cow tongue curry, super delicious!
