Hotel Monterey Sendai

I went too far through the entrance. The building is retro, too. There is a public bath, so I made a reservation, and when I checked, the public bath ended at 23:00, and the reception ended at 22:00. We arrived at the front desk just before 10 p.m. and asked the receptionist to contact us. Thank you. Is the room a little retro too? Round table on built-in table. Two chairs. The rooms were spacious, not to say spacious. The public bath is on the 13th floor. Receptionist and pick up locker key. The baths are large and there is a sauna, and the size is unknown because the sauna was not used. After bathing, there was a relaxation room (free massage machine) on the same floor, and although it was not large, there was a space with chairs and a table where everyone drank and drank beer and ice cream. But the seats are too vacuous and the guests stay too long. A glass of beer is free and ice cream is free. A lot of people have baskets when they go to the bathroom, what about those baskets? I found it when I returned to the room. There was a basket in the closet for the bath, but we were in a hurry because we were running out of time, so we didn't notice. The bath in the room was made of floor tiles, although it came with a bath, toilet and sink. Complimentary water and baggage rack available. After checking out, I finished sightseeing and tried to take a day bath I couldn't take a day-trip bath. It was about 2 p.m.

As I wrote in the title, it's pretty good to put it in a natural hot spring in front of the station, the employees are good smiling, but they're just terrible at the operation. Breakfast The buffet is not very good.

The Monterey is an interesting hotel. The façade looks like a historic building on the bottom with a modern tower of rooms glued on top. The room had a bit of a retro feel with a faux Tiffany lamp even. Maybe the place was designed and built to have a retro feel? It doesn’t feel genuine. The room was a bit on the small side, but I had a decent enough sleep on the bed. I would prefer it to have had a coffee maker in the room, though. The location is very convenient for the main train station, but if you want to visit the tourist sites they are a couple of subway stops away, or a good long walk.
