The public bath is a communal bath that can be entered by non-guests, and it is somewhat troublesome, and you can't enter the morning bath because it is only open from 9 in the morning at 10 in the evening. Food has to be moved from place to place, and walking out in the rain and summer is pungent and a little inconvenient for the elderly.

This is basically a hotel dedicated to wedding guests, and it's almost filled with them. We had a wedding here, but we could only stay one night because the accommodation was full. I was very attached to Karuizawa and the ceremony itself was wonderful, but the response of the hotel staff in Tokyo was terrible. The explanation is opaque and unclear, the cake is faked by having people specify how to apply cream, the bill details cannot be made, and important documents are riddled with blunders when lost. What's more, the manager refused to apologize in person and didn't even call & refused to return the call, which was a bad aftertaste, and I was surprised by the low level of Hoshino Resort and it was a very disappointing response. More than 3000 cases a year, it is a conveyor belt type with a basic rotation because it focuses on utilization, and it is not customer-oriented at all. The service is not worth the price, so we usually stay with foreign companies, but it is not recommended for those who want hospitality or first-class service.

Beautiful place, Very Good service during check-in, breakfast and shuttle service. Would like to have more English speaking staff. And hope the staff could advise the Shuttle information for the Village so we can stroll around easily before the official check-in hour.
