Sanda Sunrize Hotel

This hotel was just what we needed, an inexpensive, basic place to stay. If you ask at the tourist office by the JR station you can get a discount on the already (for Japan) reasonable rates. All basic services were provided: bed, closet, shower, toilet, hotpot for boiling water, clean towels each day. They really want you to go away between 10 and 3 each day so they can clean all the rooms in peace. The staff were kind and polite. No Wifi in the rooms, but a web-connected computer in the lobby. We did not try the breakfast, as it did not look appetizing. About 10 minutes walk from the two stations in town, down a quiet road. No nocturnal sounds from the karaoke place next door. Clean, decent.
