I had an errand around here and someone I knew recommended I stay there. It turned out to be a great answer. The room was large and beautiful. Breakfast buffets are tasty with a wide variety. It also has good access to the centre, making it a great base for when you need to go around. If I get another chance to come to Mita, I will use it!

Unfortunately, Mother-in-law lives in Sanda and the other options are even worse, so we have been coming to the Sanda hotel reluctantly for years. It is an old, smelly hotel with poor service (including little or no English skills), poor WiFi (unsecured and unreliable - I had to write this from the lobby since there is no signal in our room), and poor food choices (all 3 hotel restaurants turned us away, even though they were not busy, and no room service, so we had to walk 5 minutes away to McDonalds at Aeon Mall). And expensive - >120,000 yen for 3 nights. It is such a shame, since Sanda is really a wonderful location, with natural beauty, good local food, and the best of the best Kobe beef. Someone please build a decent hotel in Sanda.

Sanda Hotel is 90 mins drive from Kansai Airport. It is a resort hotel close to many Golf clubs where tournaments are held. Popular with golfers and golf spectators. Room is nice cosy and clean but a bit small typical of Japanese hotels. There is a AEON supermarket 100m away with some shops nearby. Check in check out is fast and friendly.
