Yatsugatake Kogen Lodge

It was very unkind. The hotel bus had been parked at the roundabout in front of the hotel for a long time, so carrying luggage was difficult. There were some cars coming from behind, but the hotel bus was parked in front of the hotel entrance all the time, and it didn’t move at all, and I ended up staying there until the end. On a trip with two elderly people, a woman and a small child carried a family load from a distance. There were a couple of staff inside, including a man, but they didn't seem to move at all. There were elderly people, so we carried our own luggage in the carts used by the staff. Later, when I asked if there was any service here to carry luggage or show people around, the staff were silent. I think it's funny from common sense. The selection and education is probably not done properly. It was a disappointing hotel. There is no place to play near it, and I think the hotel itself is old and relaxing. I think it's for the elderly, not the younger ones, but I don't recommend it for the elderly either, because the staff are unkind and careless. I felt it was necessary to improve. There is a large site around the hotel, so it is a waste. Good luck to the owner.

We had lunch for an on-site music hall concert. The Recommendation courses (soup, hashed beef, salad, dessert and coffee) were delicious. I didn't stay this time, but I'd love to stay next time.

As soon as you enter the woods from the national highway, you feel like you've entered another world. There's nothing nearby, so it's a great place to be when you're tired. The French food for dinner was enjoyable, with just the right amount of flavor and portions. Even though it wasn't a hot spring, I enjoyed a leisurely bath and gazing at the fire in the fireplace, making for a luxurious evening. The next morning, drenched in sweat, I headed to Kogen Hutte. There was no one else walking around, so I had the view all to myself. I'm sure it has a different kind of beauty in autumn. I'll look forward to it again, imagining the autumn leaves.
