Due to work, I couldn't check in a little too late, but they forced me to cancel and charged me the full cancellation fee. I learned that I would never use it for a hotel like this again. The people who answered the phone were also very bad and I was angry throughout. If the price is very low, it makes sense, but I wondered how the service is at a high price even though it is not a big hotel. Well, I guess it's like the elderly are getting beat up, so I think they're a bit stiff-headed. Those staying here should be careful.

Pension Baden Heim is run by a friendly and hospitable family who will go above and beyond to take care of you. We stayed from December 31st to January 2nd. The rooms are warm, with cozy bedding, the public shower and bathroom spacious and clean. Breakfast, served by the lady of the house, is worth the extra charge (coffee or tea, omelet, various meats and fruits with a side of breads and jams). They are knowledgeable of the city and will help you out with finding places to visit, where to eat, where to shop and how to get around. The location is also great. A short walk from Temple Town (寺町) and 15 minutes to the station, it's also very close to the popular history and culture museum, and a trolley line that can take you to Dejima, China Town or the Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum. I'd recommend a stay at Pension Baden Heim.
